Let us begin by giving a brief overview of the club and its history; the club in its current incarnation began in late June 2008 Mr K. Chowdhry (BA) and colleagues noticed a lack of grass root basketball teams in the Cardiff area. Having been involved in the 'golden era' of basketball in Cardiff almost a decade ago as youngsters themselves, they felt that with the Cardiff Celts recent success it was an opportunity to bring back local league basketball that was accessible to the whole of the city and also it was an opportunity to make it sustainable with the help of its partners.

Having many years experience between them in national, local, university and even streetball leagues they worked towards developing the principles of the club. The club stands for development of players abilities on and off the court, through discipline, qualified coaching and encouragement. We believe that 'team spirit' is not something that only applies to sport but something that can be transferred to every aspect of a players life both personal and professional - which is why our club moto, vires per iunctum (Strength through unity), is something that we aspire to instill in all of our players; from the seniors to the under 16 team.

In early August 2008 the Executive of the club secured a partnership deal with Pentwyn Leisure Centre who became our princeple partner, which gave us a home to call our own and with their continued support we will expand the club further. (for directions please see map below)

We currently compete in the South Wales League which stretches from Newport to West Wales incorporating hundreds of players and businesses. We have very simple & competitive sponsorship packages that cover everything from kit advertisement to having your company name on banners at all of our games.
